Science Saturday: Wonderful Water!

July 19, 2014
1-3 pm

Join us for an exploration of all things water, from its surprising physical qualities to why it is so important to our ecosystem. Learn about where our water comes from and all of the amazing creatures, big and microscopic, who call it their home. What's in store? We're going to make artful fish prints by practing the ancient art of gyotaku. The KU chapter of Engineers Without Borders will be on hand to talk about water projects and how they work. We'll have science experiments about the properties of water, and we'll also have some of our specimens from our ichthyology -- fishes -- collection on display.

Science Saturdays are drop-in style family events that are held monthly. Events include hands-on activities and demonstrations.
